Duo two-factor authentication on Microsoft 365 services

Following a series of recent high-impact cyber-attacks targeting the Higher Education sector, Computing Services Department (CSD) is acting swiftly to increase security around our systems.

On Monday 29th March, Duo two-factor authentication (2FA) will be added to Microsoft 365 services accessed from office.com.

What does this mean for my day-to-day work?

This means that you will be prompted to use Duo 2FA when you log in to the Microsoft 365 services at office.com or access the online apps, such as SharePoint and OneDrive for Business through a web browser.
