Important - reminder on end of Refworks and Transition to EndNote products
This is a reminder that the Library will be ending the use of RefWorks on 31 August 2021.
If you are continuing in studies or research past this date, please see our support pages for advice on transferring your RefWorks library to our EndNote products:

You can access EndNote Desktop on an MWS computer or install EndNote Desktop on your own computer from the CSD software portal. For EndNote Desktop support and installation help see: https://libguides.liverpool.ac.uk/referencing/endnote

Quick help exporting your RW library:
To export your library from RefWorks, use the 'Export' option (top menu, References > Export) then choose 'All in List', then choose the 'Bibliographic Software' format, a new window will appear containing a text file, right-click over this and 'save as' to save the text file to a location on your computer.
To import your library in EndNote Desktop, use the File > Import (File) option, then choose the 'Reference Manager (RIS)' format, select the text file you exported.

Note - if you are using EndNote Desktop on a personal computer, you are recommended to activate 'syncing' to regularly backup your library to the EndNote cloud (EndNote Online). See help on synching at: https://libanswers.liverpool.ac.uk/faq/49511

Help obtaining a backup of RefWorks data after September 30th (end of our RefWorks license)
In the event any users require help to migrate their RefWorks library after September 30th, a Liaison Librarian for the relevant subject can be approached for advice (https://libguides.liverpool.ac.uk/) to obtain a backup of your data.
