University of Liverpool mental health support

The University of Liverpool offers a variety of services to support the Wellbeing of our students.

The Student Welfare team is here to offer you advice, support and information on a wide range of non-academic issues including finance, disability, issues relating to your general welfare and support for international students.

The Student Support website has a huge selection of self-help online resources, offering guidance and practical advice for a whole host of issues.

Help for University of Liverpool staff

It is important to remember to take care of yourself and your own mental health. Remember, there is no need to suffer in silence and there is always help available.

You can always contact your GP for support and advice, but the University also offers a number of valuable services to help their staff.

The Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) provides counselling and information on a confidential basis, offering support for personal or professional problems that may be affecting you. Staff are entitled to 6 sessions of telephone, online or face-to-face counselling sessions.

The University of Liverpool Staff Hub also provides a breadth of resourses. There is a series of self-help guides, providing advice and information on a wide assortment of issues, including trauma, bereavement and depression.
