Libraries, Museums and Galleries (LMG) has been recognised with a prestigious CATE award (Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence), issued to the Liverpool Online leadership team.

Within this team, the E-Learning Librarian, Dr Paul Catherall, liaised with LMG teams to expand and standardise Library systems, approaches and procedures, furthering University of Liverpool (UoL) and Liverpool Online aspirations toward an inclusive community for remote and digital-focused users.

This award demonstrates the high impact of LMG in supporting global education, for driving service improvements and in supporting diversity, equality and inclusion.

Read more about the CATE award on the University website and you can also see details of a presentation celebrating the award at the University of Liverpool Learning and Teaching Awards ceremony (these links require a UoL login).

Information on this year’s CATE award is also available on AdvanceHE.
