The Liverpool Literary Festival is back this year with an irresistible programme of events in the beautiful Victoria Gallery & Museum (VG&M) taking place over the weekend of 8th – 10th October 2021. And if you can't make it to the events in person, the festival will keep one foot in the digital world with a series of lively online events, too.

The festival opens on Friday night with a live talk by television presenter, actor and comedian, Andi Osho, who will discuss her new novel, Asking for a Friend, and the joys and challenges of publishing fiction for the first time.

Other speakers in the line-up include full-time GP and TV personality Dr Amir Khan, award-winning poet Mona Arshi, and novelist Emma Jane Unsworth, author of Hungry, the Stars and Everything, Animals and Adults.

The weekend will finish on Sunday evening, at the VG&M, with new name Tabitha Lasley discussing her memoir, Sea State – a brilliant account of the lives of offshore workers.

Check out the full line up of speakers and book your tickets via the Liverpool Literary Festival webpage.

Liverpool Literary Festival runs from October 8 – 10 2021 and is sponsored by Bruntwood and Student Roost.
