LUL MS.F.2.19: Book of Hours (use of Rome). In Latin. Flemish (Tournai?) c.1420-1440.

Contents: Calendar is written in French, for use in the Low Countries, including the Tournai Saints Medard and Piat.

Decoration: Twelve 12-line pictures by a member of the Gold Scrolls group: eight in Hours of the B.V.M.; 1 before Hours of the Cross, Hours of the Holy Spirit, penitential Psalms and Office of the Dead; with continuous borders of flowers and grotesques and band of gold and colours between border and text; border on f.19 incorporated written scroll. Capital letters touched in red; line fillers in blue and red with white and gold.

Binding: 19th century.
