Contents: Calendar in French. Leaves disordered after f.52v.

Decoration: Twelve 14-line pictures (eight in Hours of the B.V.M., one before Sequentiae of Gospels, Hours of the Holy Spirit, penitential Psalms and Office of the Dead; three 3 smaller pictures in final section of prayers; pictures have borders of beasts, birds and grotesques on floral and gold grounds; other pages have floral border in outer margin. Initials 5-line historiated on f.18, 3-line and 2-line white and colour on gold, with flowers, 1-line gold on dark red. Line fillers dark red patterned in gold or broken branches in red and gold.

Binding: 17th(?) century gilt-tooled light brown morocco.

Provenance 1900-1947: The gift of Sir Charles Sydney Jones to the University of Liverpool.
