Contents: Bible; Aar ... Zuzim. Dictionary of Hebrew names. Two leaves missing (Proverbs and Romans/I Corinthians); Psalms have running title 'Psalterium'. 13th annotations and corrections.

Decoration: Initials; blue patterned in white with interior green and purple curled-leaf decoration and external red decoration; red and blue ornamented in red and blue; blue or red ornamented in red or blue.

Binding: 18th century red morocco, each cover inlaid with a lozenge of brown morocco.

Provenance 1500-1600: 16th century annotation on f.1 'Fulco Wallwyn praetium' (MS file and Ker suggest Herefordshire provenance).

Provenance 1800-1900: Armorial bookplate of Matthew Gregson (1749-1824).

Provenance c.1890-1938: Gregson Memorial Institute.

Provenance 1938-1938: Transferred from the Gregson Institute, Wavertree, 1938.
