Contents: With musical notation. 

Decoration: Initials: in Temporale, for Advent, Christmas, Easter, Ascension and Pentecost: blue patterned in white on gold; 1-line blue or red. Capitals filled in yellow. Decorative extensions (cadels), framed, with green or yellow decoration.

Binding: 19th century by Sotherran & Co.

Provenance 1901-1901: entry from English sale catalogue prices at £20 with date 1/5/1901.

Provenance c.1908-c.1938: bought for the Department of Education from the C. Sydney Jones fund.

Provenance 1959-1959: transferred to the main library of the University of Liverpool
