Part of section 7; section 8 'De ambitione cleri et intrusione in patrimonium Christi'; section 9 'De avaritia eorum et abusu temporalium'; and part of section 10 'De superbia eorum et falsa securitate'. Page numbers XXIX (for XLIX) and XL.

Decoration: page heading and section headings in red; 1- and 2-line initials in red on blue or blue on red; line fillers in red and blue.

Provenance 1864: Part of manuscript formerly owned by Guillaume Libri; sold at auction at Sotheby's, 1 June 1864, lot 71, to Boone (Thomas and William Boone or Thomas Boone & Son or a related firm, all London).

Provenance 1899-1935: Part of manuscript formerly owned by Sir Thomas Phillipps (ms. 24654) which appeared at auction at Sotheby's in a sale of part of the Phillipps collection, 6 June 1899, lot 367, but appears to have remained unsold; sold at auction at Sotheby's in a sale of part of the Phillipps collection, 24 June 1935, lot 74.

Provenance 1950: single leaf fragment donated to the University of Liverpool by Professor A.Y. Campbell, 1950.
