The University Archives contain records of sports clubs and teams such as the University of Liverpool's Athletics Club (Athletic Union). The Children's Book collections contain nearly 700 19th-20th century volumes on the history of physical education, gymnastics and other sports from Archery to Yachting. Many are illustrated with contemporary photographs.
