Chicago Referencing Style

The Chicago Manual of Style (CMS) presents two referencing styles, notes & bibliography or author-date. CMS is developed and published by the University of Chicago.

The Chicago Manual of Style is available in print in the Library and guidance is provided online

Chicago Style Guide

The Chicago-Style Citation Quick Guide provides examples of how to cite the most commonly used sources. For anything not covered by the Quick Guide consult the full The Chicago Manual of Style. This is a comprehensive guide which provides extensive advice and citation guidance.
