Training and Development

Booking and recording training

For any training that you undertake, you're asked to complete the Travel and Development Request form to record your training activity for all training, including free events and in-house training.

You must obtain permission from your line manager before attending any training. 

Obligatory Training

The University has an Obligatory Training Framework which all new members of staff are required to undertake in order to meet the expectations associated with their role and to comply with current government legislation. The framework and modules can be found on the Obligatory Training Learnwell site.
