The University has an Obligatory Training Framework which all new members of staff are required to undertake in order to meet the expectations associated with their role and to comply with current government legislation. The framework and modules can be found on the Obligatory Training Learnwell site.
All new staff members are to complete within one month of appointment, with a refresher prompted every three years.

In addition to the Obligatory Training Framework, all LMG staff must also undertake Fire Safety training:
Grade 6 and above must additionally complete within three months of appointment, with a refresher prompted every three years

All members of staff are required to complete the University of Liverpool Obligatory Training as part of their induction period.
Completion of the University Obligatory Training is needed before LMG staff can access further funded training and development.
Staff members with specific duties may undertake ad hoc training, for responsibilities including
Taking Payments by Credit and Debit Card
Keeping Card Payments Safe
Professional Development Review (For line managers who will act as reviewers in the annual PDR process)
Recruitment & Selection (this is not recorded in your training history within CoreHR)
