Libraries, Museums & Galleries recognises that the induction of its new employees is vital to ensure their quick transition into their new role.
LMG operates an induction process to provide new staff with a sense of belonging and help them become familiar with the Libraries, Museums & Galleries and their procedures. The induction is planned to ensure new staff are aware of legal requirements and University policies and understand how they can contribute to the aims and objectives of the LMG and the University.
On your first day of employment, you will be greeted by your line manager or their designated representative. The discussion will cover all aspects of your new role, whilst also offering support to help you settle in, introduce you to other members of the department and take you on a tour of the workplace.
