Window on the World Reading List

Please add your contribution to our international cultural text collection!

What is the purpose of this reading list? Our Window on the World reading list provides an opportunity for international students to share the rich and diverse cultures of their homeland or region with the University community. The Library values the wealth of knowledge that international students bring to the University of Liverpool and with your help will create a reading list full of diverse voices, which showcases authors from your homeland or region.

To browse or search the collection please see this page.

How do I get involved?

  1. Review the criteria for recommendations before you begin
  2. Identify books written by authors from your homeland or region on an academic subject
  3. Identify books written by authors from your homeland or region which showcase the culture, history, geography etc of your homeland or region
  4. Submit your recommendation by using this submission form or look out for the QR codes in the library buildings and online

If you have any questions about making a recommendation contact library@liverpool.ac.uk
